Hockey is a type of a sport in which there are 2 teams competing against each other by the maneuvering of a puck to the opponents goal using hockey sticks. Be sure to consider your feet movements. There are 2 common problems that some corrections and these would include the stepping of ball and the movement of feet. Changing these and practicing for the better is very important to avoid the opponent on having a free hit.

When blocking the free hits, make sure that the stick is placed completely to the ground, end to end. Doing this will provide you a larger area for stopping the ball. This will also increase the chances in getting it back.If it is already inside your circle or in your 25, make sure to hit that ball towards the outside. It would be better that it will go out of the bounds because through this, your opponent may not have the their shot directly towards the goal.

If possible, utilize the guidelines. With this, you can surely get up in a play field much easier since the area is less crowded, and thus, to maneuver is easier. Being aggressive and working harder is better. Always remember all the lessons and suggestions provided by teammates and coaches. Try an air dribbling technique. It allows the ball to go to the stick, then bandy it.

Allow the opposition on using the side lines. Channeling them down on the side will prevent them to pass in the middle. And also, running them out over back line. Opponents cannot be able to score if they cannot come into your circle. Take note on back passes from a baseline to the spot.
