Make Your Own Adorable Minky Blanket

Buying stuffs specifically blankets for the cute little angels does not be expensive. You can use your own creativity in making your own blanket using the minky fiber. The following are the few simple steps that you can do to achieve a homemade comforter.

In making, you need to provide these few materials that you will be using. A printed cotton, minky fiber, a thread to connect and a sewing stuffs. To start, clean the cloth first by washing it. If it is already dry make it sure to iron in after.

It depends to how big you want your comforter will be. Make as many blankets as you can by estimating and using the cloth wisely. Cut them to your desired size and dimension. The way to cut a cotton is with the use of scissors but it is best to tear them. Tear the edge off of each opposite side. After tearing it measure it using a ruler to your desired length and width. Give enough allowance to avoid textile shortage.

If your minky and cloth is both ready, put them together now by placing the printed phase down and the soft phase up. You need to face the right phase to achieve the desired minky outcome. Before cutting the extra and unneeded areas, pin first the two layers to keep them both together.

After, bind the together using the thread you have prepared and pull off the pins that you pinned. Use the back stitch. Leave a whole or a space between the cloth, measure about two to three inches.

Pull out the bed lining after finishing the embroidering part. Take out everything through the hole side that you left. Do your finishing touches now by making sure to remove the edges and closing the hole. Close everything and do not put any extra spaces. You can use an iron to press down the lining to make them flat.

After following the steps perfectly and you are now all set. As easy as that, you will be able to finish approximately a comfy minky linen for your little one within an hour. You need not to be extravagant in buying and providing the needs of the baby. You are capable of doing and finding a lot of alternatives to do. Just be creative and be a wise money spender.
